Minimum Requirements

The Starbucks Rental Store Program is designed to provide an economical solution to temporary store closure for Starbucks Licensees.  Unfortunately, Starbucks does have a limited number of Stores available in this Program.  As such, Starbucks has defined “Minimum Requirements” to ensure that these Rental Stores provide the largest impact while also ensuring the Program’s financial viability.

Outlined below are the Minimum Requirements to qualify for a Rental Store.  Please also note that Reservations are also based on the availability of a Rental Store based on the dates requested.  Please contact your Starbucks PDM for more information and to make a Reservation.

1.

CURRENT STARBUCKS LICENSEE

This Starbucks Rental Program is only available to current Licensees of Starbucks.

2.

6 WEEK RENTAL

Each Reservation Requires a Minimum of a 6 week rental.  Rentals are calculated from the date of Installation until the Date of Take Down.  Rental Stores must be open for operation within 3 days of Installation.

3.

MINIMUM WEEKLY SALES VOLUME

The current permeant Store that a Rental Store is being requested for must have a Minimum Weekly Sales Volume to qualify for this Program.  Please contact your Starbucks PDM or Starbucks DM to see if your Store qualifies.

4.

ON-SITE MAINTENANCE & REPAIR

Starbucks has designed this Store Rental Program to offer its Licensees an economical solution to  rent a Starbucks store.  As such, the program relies on the Licensee to assist in some areas to keep the program costs down – On-site Maintenance and Repair.  The Licensee is required to assist PIVOT with on-site resources to facilitate maintenance and repairs to the Rental Store during the course of the rental.  After PIVOT completes a successful Installation, PIVOT does not return to the site until the end of the Rental when the Rental Store is Taken Down.  PIVOT will assist with any issue and ship the necessary part(s) to facilitate a repair.  The Licensee is responsible to provide the on-site resources to perform the repair in coordination with PIVOT.  Typically, the Licensee’s General Contractor is tasked to assist.  Alternatively, an on-site maintenance team or a trade contractor provided by the Licensee can assist.
