Step 2 - Pre Rental Call

It is now time for your Pre-Rental Call.  This Pre-Rental Call is an opportunity to review this information with you and answer all of your questions.  Your Starbucks PDM will setup this call.  Attendees for this call should include:

Starbucks:

    • Starbucks DM
    • Mark Parsons

Licensee:

    • Corporate contacts from facilities & operations
    • Starbucks store manager
    • Facility manger / General contractor

PIVOT:

    • Program Manager – Ryan Caraher

To provide better organization, this call is broken into the following topics:

1.

STORE OVERVIEW

We will walk you through the Starbucks Rental Store.  This includes an operational overview, space requirements, options you can add to your rental, etc.

2.

SITE PREPARATION

We will review with you the Site Preparation needed for your Starbucks Rental Store and when you need to have the Site Preparation complete to ensure the installation will happen on the date requested.

3.

STORE EQUIPMENT & STARTUP

We will review all of the equipment that will come with your Starbucks Rental Store and the equipment you will need from your existing Store to operate this Store.  You will also need to schedule the move and startup of your Mastrena.

4.

BUILDING AND HEALTH PERMITTING

It is your responsibility to arrange and manage your permits for Building and Health.

5.

DELIVERY & LOAD-IN

Understanding the Delivery and Load-In is critical to ensure a smooth installation.  The Load-In Path is the path the Rental Store will take from the Unloading Location to the Installation Location.  Please describe that Path in detail including moving up or down any floors, steps, elevators, doorways, tight turns, etc.

INSTALLATION

The Starbucks Rental Store is designed to be installed Quickly with Minimal Site Impact.  Doing your part and being prepared is KEY to a successful installation.

7.

TRAILER STORAGE

Your Starbucks Rental Store will arrive in a customized Starbucks Transport Trailer.  This Trailer needs to be store in a safe and secure location for the duration of your Rental.

TIMELINE

It is extremely important to understand the Starbucks Rental Program Timeline and schedule of events.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The Starbucks Rental Store is a very valuable and expensive store system.  We will review with you how to care for this store when operating it and how to avoid a large repair bill at the conclusion of your rental.

NEW STORES

If you are renting a Starbucks Store prior to opening a new permanent Starbucks Store instead of a renovation, there are some things you will need to do.
