Delivery & Load-In
The Delivery of your Starbucks Rental Store will come in a custom Starbucks Transport Trailer that is similar to a Car Hauler. This is not a freight truck that utilizes a loading dock. The Transport Trailer can not be offloaded via a loading dock as the ramp will off load the Rental Store at Ground Level. If you need to utilize a loading dock, you will need to supply a Fork Lift and Operator to lift the Rental Store from Ground Level onto the Loading Dock. The Transport Trailer measures approximately 11 feet tall and can not drive into most parking garages.
The Tow Vehicle and the Starbucks Transport Trailer is quite long and will not fit into tight spaces. Please let us know in advance if you do not have the appropriate facility to fit this size vehicle and trailer.
Typically, the Truck and Starbucks Transport Trailer will pull into the main entrance of the facility and can be moved after the Rental Store is unloaded (approximately 1 hour).
It is extremely important, to ensure a successful installation, that you know the Load-In Path that the Starbucks Rental Store will travel from the Unload Location to the Installation Location (the location where the Store will be installed and operated).
Please be aware that the Starbucks Rental Store is extremely heavy and can not be manually lifted. It contains modular units sizing up to 9 feet long by 3 feet wide. They can not be moved up stairs, around tight corners or through narrow doorways. Understanding the path the Rental Store must travel to get from the Unload Location to the Installation Location is extremely important as additional heavy equipment maybe needed to facilitate this move.
We recommend walking the Load-In Path and documenting anything you find that can be an issue. This includes:

- Stairs
- Doorways
- Tight Turns
- Tight Aisles
- Elevators (if it needs to move up or down floors)
- High Thresholds
- Unfinished flooring (i.e. gravel, sand, grass, dirt, etc.)
- Steep inclines
